It Was All A Dream

JP’s Dreamhouse didn’t start out as just an idea – it began as a feeling.

A vision of an experience, and a moment away from everyday reality. I wanted to create a space for others like myself who just wanted to get away for a moment – a place to remember what it feels like to be “just a girl” in a beautiful setting where fun, laughs, friend time, and bonding all come together in a space that is lovely, beautiful, and feminine.

In a world of millennial gray décor and heavy responsibilities like work, motherhood, and figuring out where you’re going with your life, JP’s is a place where you can be anything you want to be for a day. Escape to a little place where everything is beautiful, lovely, fun, and whimsical. As a family photographer I truly believe that a picture is worth a thousand words, so I wanted the space to have plenty of spots to capture the perfect memories – forever.

Since I was little I have always been two things – a girls girl, drawn to female friendships and all things feminine, and a creative dreamer – constantly imagining, drawing, painting, dancing, planning, designing, writing, and dreaming up ideas. My imagination has always been endless. JP’s Dreamhouse is where those two parts of me collide to create something truly magical in my eyes – a place I could share with others in the same way I have enjoyed it myself.

Stay tuned for future blog posts and follow my Instagram here where I highlight the rooms, the creative process, the stories of my journey to get here, and the exciting things I have planned for the space. My hope is that JP’s Dreamhouse inspires you to embrace the things that make you feel most like yourself, and create magical moments worth remembering, too!
